The magnificant colors of Petra sandstones are magical as one views them while wandering down the winding, narrow passage between two sandstone cliffs that soar skyward at over 1000 feet. Once at the end of the Siq, the colors bloom in the magic of the "rose city" Treasury. The multitude of colors in the sandstones vary from brilliant reds to soft pinks, from sparkling golds to subtle blues, and many colors and hues in between.
