Kenai Fjords

Kenai Fjords National Park is located in south central Alaska, near the town of Seward. There are many icefields that make up the park but the largest is Harding Icefield, one of the largest icefields in the United States. The numerous fjords are created by glaciers moving down the mountains from the ice fields. There are approximately 38 glaciers contributing to the formations of Kenai Fjords National Park, the largest of which is Bear Glacier.
