Mount of Beatitudes : The Mount of Beatitudes is the site thought to be Jesus' delivery of the Sermon on the Mount, probably the most famous sermon of all time. It is located on a small hill in a peaceful garden setting overlooking the Sea of Galilee near Tabgha. The octagonal shape of the church represents the eight beatitudes as stated in Matthew 5-7 & Luke 6:12.

Tabgha~Peter Primacy : The Church of the Primacy of Peter is a modest Franciscan chapel that incorporates part of a 4th-century church. It is located at Tabgha on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee roughly 500 yards from the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes church in the same compound of "seven springs". It commemorates the post-resurrection sighting of Jesus in John's Gospel when, seeing the disciples fishing, he calls them over to the lake side to have breakfast, at the same time forgiving Peter for his weakness on the night of the trial. The church is built over the rock where the fire was lit.

Capernaum : The city of Capernaum was built on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee, about two miles west of the Jordan River. Capernaum became the center of Jesus' Galilean work and ministry where he performed miracles while preaching, including the healing of "a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him" and "a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum" (Luke 7:1-10; John 4:46-53). It was on the beautiful Sea of Galilee "toward Capernaum" that Jesus walked on water (John 6:16-21).

Nazareth : Nazareth is about 16 mi from the Sea of Galilee and about 5.6 mi west from Mount Tabor. Nazareth is the childhood home of Jesus, and as such is a center of Christian pilgrimage, with many shrines commemorating biblical associations. The Church of the Annunciation, the largest Christian church building in the Middle East, is believed to be the location where Mary, the mother of Jesus, as a virgin, was visited by the Archangel Gabriel. She was told that she had been selected to be the mother of Jesus.
